NOTICE OF MEETINGS TO CONSIDER RATE INCREASE LAKEHURST WATER AND SANITATION DISTRICT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Section 32-1-1001(2)(a), C.R.S., to the customers of the Lakehurst Water and Sanitation District (“District”) and all other interested persons that the Board of Directors of the District (“Board”) may consider adopting and/or increasing certain District rates, fees, and charges at open public meetings to be held at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, April 20, 2026, May 18, 2026 and June 15, 2026 in the District office located at 7995 West Quincy Avenue, Jefferson County, Colorado 80123-1319.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that any interested party may appear at said dates, time and place for the purpose of providing input, comments, or objections to the Board regarding this matter. Information regarding the possible rate adoption and/or increase may be obtained from the District’s manager, Steven Daldegan., whose office is located at 7995 West Quincy Avenue, Jefferson County, Colorado 80123-1319, telephone number 303-985-7895.

The district's research and retrieval fee is $41.37 per hour

District Policy
In those cases where the location or existence of specific documents must be researched and the documents must be retrieved, sorted or reviewed for applicability to
the request, and such process requires more than one hour of staff time, the Custodian may charge a research and retrieval fee not to exceed thirty-three dollars and fifty eight cents ($41.37) per hour, or the maximum amount allowed by the Executive Committee of the State Legislative Council, whichever is greater.
The Custodian will not impose a charge for the first hour of time expended in connection with the research and retrieval of public records.
