NOTICE OF MEETING TO CONSIDER
RATE INCREASE
WHEAT RIDGE WATER DISTRICT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Section 32-l-1001(2)(a), C.R.S., to the
customers of the Wheat Ridge Water District ("District") and all other interested persons
that the Board of Directors of the District ("Board") may consider adopting and/or
increasing certain District water rates, fees, and charges at an open public meeting to be
held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 in the District office located at 6827 W. 38th Avenue,
Wheat Ridge, Colorado 80034.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that any interested party may appear at said date,
time and place for the purpose of providing input, comments, or objections to the Board
regarding this matter. Information regarding the possible rate increase may be obtained
from the District's manager, Nick Moncada., whose office is located at 6827 W. 38th Avenue,
Wheat Ridge, Colorado 80034, telephone number 720-213-6621.

The district's research and retrieval fee is $41.37 per hour

District Policy
Please contact the Custodian below for additional information on the District's CORA Policy. In those cases where the location or existence of specific documents must be researched and the documents must be retrieved, sorted or reviewed for applicability to the request, and such process requires more than one hour of staff time, the Custodian may charge a research and retrieval fee not to exceed forty-one dollars and thirty seven cents ($41.37) per hour, or the maximum amount allowed by the Executive Committee of the State Legislative Council, whichever is greater. The Custodian will not impose a charge for the first hour of time expended in connection with the research and retrieval of public records.

Board Candidate Self-Nomination Forms

Any eligible elector of the special district who desires to be a candidate for the office of special district director must file a self-nomination and acceptance form or letter with the designated election official.

Deadline for Self-Nomination Forms

Self-nomination and acceptance forms or letters must be filed not less than 67 days before the date of the regular election. For the next regular election, the deadline is 02/26/2027.
