The Board of Directors will hold a public hearing as required by CRS § 32-1-1001(2) at 6 pm on December 16, 2024, at the Florida Mosquito Control District Office, 208 Highway 172, Durango, Colorado to consider approval of the following fee increases and establish an effective date for any increase:

• Monthly user fee not to exceed $75/ERT ($10 increase).
• Inspection Fee not to exceed $250/tap ($150 increase).

These increases are needed to provide funding for equipment repairs and replacements for the District wastewater collection and treatment system.

Board Candidate Self-Nomination Forms

Any eligible elector of the special district who desires to be a candidate for the office of special district director must file a self-nomination and acceptance form or letter with the designated election official.

Deadline for Self-Nomination Forms

Self-nomination and acceptance forms or letters must be filed not less than 67 days before the date of the regular election. For the next regular election, the deadline is 02/28/2025.
