PUBLIC NOTICE OF A MEETING OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND A NOTICE OF POTENTIAL INCREASE IN RATES OF THE MOUNTAIN WATER AND SANITATION DISTRICT AND THE MOUNTAIN WATER AND SANITATION ENTERPRISE DURING THE REGULAR SCHEDULED MEETING
NOTICE is hereby given that a regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the Mountain Water and Sanitation District and the Mountain Water & Sanitation Enterprise will be held on December 19, 2023, commencing at the hour of 7 :00 P.M., at the District Office, located at 12365 Highway 285, Conifer, Colorado. The Directors will hold a regular meeting with a discussion about increasing rates for domestic water and sanitary sewer services, followed by a vote on the matter at the January 16, 2024 meeting. District Policy
The Mountain Water and Sanitation district charges for copies and professional time utilized to respond to requests for information per the Colorado Open Records Act. Per CRS 24-72-205, copies will be charged at $.25/page and staff time will be charged at $30/hour after the first hour of time spent without charge. Time required searching, retrieving and compiling information is charged to the requester at $30/hour. Board Candidate Self-Nomination Forms

Any eligible elector of the special district who desires to be a candidate for the office of special district director must file a self-nomination and acceptance form or letter with the designated election official.

Deadline for Self-Nomination Forms

Self-nomination and acceptance forms or letters must be filed not less than 67 days before the date of the regular election. For the next regular election, the deadline is 02/28/2025.
