SDA’s Kristen Lindholm has accepted a teaching position that will begin this August in conjunction with the new school year. We all wish her well in this exciting and rewarding venture! Since she started at SDA last August, Kristen has taken on a multitude of responsibilities including assisting SDA members with database issues and questions, developing and implementing Lessons on Local Government, as well as handling the preparation and planning for the 2011 Conference. She also writes the weekly blog that appears on SDA’s website. Not only has Kristen made a significant daily contribution as SDA’s Project Specialist, but her upbeat attitude and incomparable talent for handling issues quickly (and with a smile) will be sorely missed.
SDA is pleased to announce the newest addition to our office—Meredith Quarles. Meredith comes to SDA with a plethora of knowledge from the banking world where she was a vice president at NationsBank and Compass Bank. Meredith also has previous experience in business development, previously owned a small business, served as a contractor for non profits, and most recently was the small business services associate for a large CPA firm. Meredith will be taking on many of the tasks Kristen currently manages as well as SDA’s financials and accounting.
We are very excited to welcome Meredith to the SDA staff. We hope you will take a minute to say hello to her at the Annual Conference in Breckenridge.
