SDA Greets The New Year With A New Look!

Publication Date:
January, 2010

Beginning February 1, SDA readers will be treated to a brand new image, as a new logo and format will debut, sparking up the web site, newsletter, letterhead, business cards, and various brochures and programs.

SDA adopted the now-familiar indigo triangle logo some twelve years ago, and has kept it constant, as the Newsletter has grown, and the SDA website has been added to the arsenal of communications tools at our command. From the earliest days of SDA’s history, when its Newsletter appeared to be mimeographed on stapled brown pages, to the bright, colorful Newsletter with the beautiful photo of the Dallas Divide area, the visual images have kept pace with the dramatic growth in membership, recognition, sophistication, and effectiveness of SDA as an advocacy and service organization for special districts.

As part of the new era, the website is being significantly upgraded and broadened. As the new site is launched, not only will it carry the new image, consistent with the Newsletter, it will be much more functional. More technical assistance and informational data will be stored for easy member access. Membership data will be kept more efficiently, and will be more accessible and searchable by the members. Conference and workshop registration, as well as dues payment, and purchasing of publications, can all be done interactively on line. As webinars and training videos are developed, they will be available for download by members.

As the SDA Board approved these changes, they were conscious of the need for a look that is not only distinctive, but is also distinctively Colorado. As SDA members see this update, they will undoubtedly be pleased and proud of the exciting new image of their Association.
