The Colorado Special Districts Property and Liability, (CSD) Pool Board of Directors is pleased to announce a new program targeted at encouraging new members to take part in our various Training Workshops as well as the SDA Annual Conference. With our CSD Pool 2010 Scholarship program, we are offering to reimburse districts for costs incurred sending first time supervisors and Board Members to specific training offered by the CSD Pool and the SDA.

To accomplish this, we are offering 40 scholarships with a total value of approximately $25,000. The scholarships are intended to cover out of pocket expenses associated with travel and attendance at Training Workshops or the SDA Annual Conference. Below are a few Scholarship Program details:

• 20 – $350 scholarships available for attending regional workshops
• 20 – $750 scholarships are available for attending the SDA Annual Conference
• Board members and district supervisors eligible
• Must be a first time attendee from a member district
• Preference will be given to districts who have
  • Never had an attendee at the event
  • No district attendees in the past three years
  • New Managers or Board members who have never attended
• Nominations from district Staff will be accepted for eligible supervisor or Board Member; after which, we send personalized invitations to attend, cost free
