Today is Election Day for Colorado’s special districts, and SDA would like to take this opportunity to thank all who have served as Board Members. “Choosing to run for a position on a special district board requires a selfless dedication to your community. Board members donate countless hours of their time to ensure districts provide the best possible service to citizens,” said SDA Executive Director, Ann Terry. “The job can be a time consuming one, but district board members play a vital role in providing Colorado’s infrastructure and we are grateful for their contribution.”
SDA would like to remind districts of several upcoming training opportunities that will be beneficial for new board members.

The SDA Annual Conference in Keystone, CO September 22-24, 2010, will also offer extensive opportunities for new board member training.
