The Joint Budget Committee met yesterday to discuss the latest revenue forecast. According to the report, the Colorado economy continues to recover from the recession, with real estate and banking being slower to recover.

Following the release of the forecast, Gov. Ritter announced he will submit a plan later this summer to re-balance the 2010-2011 budget, which will close the $75 million shortfall in the budget that will happen July 1st.
