Award Nominations

It is time for the 2010 SDA Award Nominations! Now through Monday, July 26, 2010 SDA will be excepting nominations for Distinguished Board Members, Distinguished Managers and a new award for special district collaboration.

 The Special District Collaboration Award will recognize districts that have created successful working relationships with other local governments.

The nomination forms for the 2010 awards can be found HERE under the section titled “File Attachments.” All nominations will be received ELECTRONICALLY this year. So please fill out the forms in a word document and email them to Annie Skinner at annie@sdaco.org

SDA Conference Volunteer Program

ANNOUNCING SDA’S NEW VOLUNTEER PROGRAM FOR

2010 ANNUAL CONFERENCE

Interested in sharing your organizational and people skills at the SDA Conference while earning a discount on your registration? 

We are looking for 10-12 people who would like to work 3 or 4 hour shifts behind the SDA registration booth.   It’s a pretty fast paced job, requiring you to stand most of the time and move boxes of conference materials from storage to the booth (about 20 feet).  In exchange you will earn a 25% discount on your conference registration fees and meet dozens of great special district folks.
