According to Colorado Statute, the Oath of Office for all board members must be administered by today, and the District must also have arranged for a Faithful Performance Bond. The bonding requirement is satisfied if you are a member of the SDA Insurance Pool, but you must still file the documentation of that coverage.

The oath and the bond must both be filed with the Clerk of the District Court and the Division of Local Government. Copies of the oaths must also be filed with the County Clerk and Recorder as well. Failure to file these for a board member will make their position on the board vacant.

Today also marks the deadline for submitting your Notice of Cancellation or Certificate of Election Results. To file the Certificate of Election Results you must use form B70 from the DLG website located HERE. If you are filing a Notice of Cancellation you must also submit a copy of the Resolution of Cancellation.
