State revenue forecast shows increased momentum

DENVER — Wednesday, September 20, 2017 — The Governor’s Office of State Planning and Budgeting (OSPB) today released its quarterly economic and revenue forecast.

After modest increases in the prior two fiscal years, General Fund revenue is forecast to increase at stronger rates of 8.1 percent in FY 2017-18 and 4.9 percent in FY 2018-19.

Mesa County Federal Mineral Lease District announces Fall 2017 Grant Cycle Open; Seeks Public Comment for Investment Policy

GRAND JUNCTION, CO – The Mesa County Federal Mineral Lease District (MCFMLD) announces the fall 2017 grant cycle opens on August 1, 2017.

This year, the MCFMLD has approximately $350,000 to use for the fall 2017 grant cycle. This amount is subject to change, pending the public comment period and approval of the new Investment Policy that is currently being created by the MCFMLD Board. A copy of this draft policy can be found online at the Districts website. The Board welcomes public comment on the draft.

WECMRD Names Janet Bartnik Executive Director

July 20, 2017 – Eagle County, Colo. – The Western Eagle County Metropolitan Recreation District (WECMRD) board of directors is pleased to announce the hire of Janet Bartnik as the organization’s new executive director. Selected from a pool of 122 applicants from around the country, Bartnik is widely regarded as a national expert in community recreation.
